Óbidos is chosen to be the research platform for MIT Portugal

Approximately 20 teachers and researchers responsible for the coordination of research projects through the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) - Portugal program with several Portuguese universities, met in Óbidos, on October 2nd. This was the first meeting conducted under the protocol signed between the municipality of Óbidos and the Foundation for Science and Technology to establish a platform there for the research and sharing the work of three partnerships established between the Portuguese government and U.S. universities MIT (Cambridge), Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh) and the University of Texas (Austin).
